• bedbug disaster contained...

  all this talk recently about this whole week being in the 90 to 100 degree range, and currently it's rainy and 72. 

  alright, yesterday, I mention that the bedbug thing is mostly handled, I can safely say the situation is 99% taken care of.  I'll still vacuum, wash, and spray a couple 3 more times to try and become completely bug free. I've even been showering with the dogs "Happy Jack flea shampoo" so as I didn't bring the shit to work (or anywhere else, for that matter).  all I know for sure is that I'm getting a lot better sleep than say a week ago.  I can only hope that the Kid didn't bring those bugs to his moms house, or his friend to his own apartment.  they'll need a good amount of cash (currently I've got a running $175 bug control balance, plus the price of the pillow top thinger that I threw away), and an OCD damage control mentality to fight back...good gawd!  what'd people do a hundred years ago (and beyond)?  simply put up with 'em?! !

  my sis hints at the fact that I may have ADD like she had just possibly been diagnosed.  I gotta read up on what that means before making any type of comment. I know I ain't right in a lot of ways, but didn't know there was a title for it.  lemme do some research than get back to ya on it.  she mentions some sort of test one can take.  maybe I can find that on the web as well...

  do some online banking yesterday. I wrote them an email about a week ago (and then a follow up a couple days back that seemed half scathing about the fact that they didn't answer my first) about the fact that I couldn't get anything to work on their "transfer funds" page.  finally, yesterday I called the 800 number because a payment was due and I felt rather helpless that I couldn't make said payment.  the lady was nice about helping me out. it turns out that it was simply a browser issue.  the bank updated their website to only be IE friendly.  firefox doesn't wanna play nice with it.  problem solved. I'll use IE for banking and firefox for everything else (firefox seems so much faster).

  anyway, I gotta return a bunch of beer cans (did I mention my cat drinks a lot of beer?), and do some food shopping (maybe pick up a sausage McGriddle along the way *plan*)
