nice day for sunburn on top of a sunburn
. I am turning somewhat brownish instead of that beet red thang, so all is good. anyway, this morning, I stop off at Supercuts for a hair chop, but it looks like a 45 minute wait, so I put my name on the list and do me some breakfast (eggy burrito thingeys at McD's...they're darn good!). it takes a bit longer than 45 minutes because the lady ahead of me is hugely picky, but that's ok. it's still early. I get my head chopped, then head to the local hardware store for some more brushes and a new front porch light. after I get home, I start on the white trim and paint the back door a first coat, then it's on to painting a second coat gray that butts up to the white trim. after that I scrape, wire brush, and use some TSP (krud kleaner) on the porch roof sill, then commence to paint that white. I'm hammering some Schlitz in the meantime. now it's 5:30-ish, and nuke me some leftover hambooger helper and tator salad, then back out to the porch to jot down some drunken words describing my day *belch* [good gawd! I'm that "run-on sentence" kind of guy when I've been drinkin', but who cares, right?]alright, I haven't seen across the way Jay since I started this project, yet he was all "dude, holler if you need help". I hollered, but I left it open-ended, maybe I offended him somehow. don't matter. he's still a cool hippy! I'll help him when his roof needs fixin' (which is the project he's doing next, once the weather cools down)...
I'll attempt to install the new porch light next...
