yesterday, after writing briefly about winter time in my xanga entry, I thought of how much easier winter would be if I had me a good snow blower. that old POS that I sold to Ron (aka: Chas Manson) for $35 was more work than picking up a damn shovel to begin with. I peruse the snow-blower reviews for a good 2 stage model that gets the best bang for the buck. seems Tractor Supply Co. offers a Cub Cadet 524 we model, 208cc 2-stager that seems to fit within that 'best bang' parameter. it's a whopping $700, but I figure that's cheap compared to the cost of a heart attack that a shovel will eventually cause, and if we have another winter like last year, I'm gonna need a good powerful snow-blower. I found an online store that's willing to ship it to my house for FREE! good gawd! that's a big item! it's hard to imagine what shipping would normally cost on a snow-blower. maybe a good couple hundred bucks??
. I'll prob'ly just ramble over to the TSC and throw one in the back of my shrimpy truck...when I decide to make the plunge. speaking of Ron (aka; Chas Manson), he stops over today, and scares the crap out of me, by (once again) staring into my storm door to see if I'm home (if you seen this guy, you'd know what I mean, he looks like a homeless dude with long gray dirty hair and beard, rotten tombstone teef, and dirty ass mission clothes. he's a harmless enough guy, just scary lookin'). seems he wanted to share another dumpster dive porno mag with me. "I'm done with it, I don't want it back...it's yours for free" [thanks?]. I throw it in the trash as soon as he's gone. all's good in the trailer-hood
!nice day all day. it's just now lookin' as if it may rain soon. I spend a good 45 minutes relaxing out in the lawn chair with a beer (or 3). it's not for that GQ tan (I'm not that vain, plus I'm too old to make it work), it's more for therapeutic purposes. it's nearly a religious experience to have a half a beer buzz and feel the suns rays bake me like a butterball turkey. I'm thinkin' there won't be too many days left to absorb the UV, being as close as we are to autumn, and all.
I never did get to that electrical box project. I keep putting it off because I'm too busy drinkin' beers and slackin'
. maybe next week...
