I do some online banking this morning before heading into the stalag. it's a bigger check than I normally get for 48 hours. I ponder all day as to why? maybe I got my $.40/hour raise? it's been almost 6 months. I stop off to the mail box on the way home to find a hard copy of my check stub. seems, for whatever reason, there's $35 in the "bonus" gross amount section (shweet!
). after counting the months I've been hired in, I gotta wait 'til September to get my raise...anyway, I place a good $300 from this check into savings (toward that snow blower). then move another $600 from savings to pay down my "solid gold gem encrusted brake" master card account (I've been using the card for, not only brakes, but house paint, groceries, gas, etc., back when we weren't getting solid 48 hour weeks [July slow-down] so the balance quickly rose to near $1300, in no time flat
. now it's down near a more manageable $500, soon to be eliminated all together....by, say, Sept 26th, sounds like a good goal
). after coming home from the stalag, the pooperdog and I do a quick walk so she can do her thang (2 bagger), then 'across the way, Jay' stops me and asks if I can bring him to the beer store? "sure!". he pays me $4 for bringing him to a store about a mile away
. I gladly accept, being I brought him here a dozen times with no compensation, so it all evens out in the warsh. I grab a four pack of 16oz Chilada's (Bud Light and Clamato...essentially carbonated V8 juice), and a pack of gum for work. once home, I change out of my work cruds, and into some shorts and a T-shirt. now I'm contemplating what I should make for supper. maybe some hambooger helper *plan*
