last night we ran manual car seats (the easiest and fastest to run) all night, so we easily hit our goal, even with an hour downtime due to running out of rails. the boss makes good use out of that hour by giving us info we'll need to know for our next ISO audit. while in this meeting, a lot of problem solving questions about our line also came up, but he kept steering away from that, and refocusing on ISO training. I thought it would have been a good time to address both issues. we never have brain storming meetings, and the solutions we do give are usually shot down, or not implemented so I guess...never mind
. the place lacks any kind of organized team work skills, other than just come in, be that robot, and stay in the dark about everything. those are pretty encouraging "skills", right?
. whatever. it actually sounds like our boss is considering that we may have an entire weekend off (pending how good today's shift goes). that'd be awesome! it's been a long time since that last day off. [news at 11]
