after a good week in the shop, and a hundred clams later, I pick up my car yesterday, just to find out it has the same god damn engine light trouble, with the exact same diagnostic code
. WTF?!?! DID THEY EVEN OPEN THE HOOD? good gawd! I can't do a damn thing at this point, being I picked it up after hours and they won't reopen 'til Monday morning.[...] pause for a midnight barefoot pooperdog walk. the stars are out in full blaze tonight. awesome!
[continuing on...] I'm thinkin' I'll simply let them know my disappointment and tell them to jam their fancy warranty, then bring it to my own mechanic here in town it's a good 40 mile round trip to bring it back to the dealer, and I'm thinkin' if they can't fix it right the first time, I'm not gonna tear my hair out on a nightmarish merry-go-round dealing with incompetent bullshit wannabe's (I've been thru that scenario in the past. this time I'll cut my loss and move on, but yes, I will let them know of my disappointment on Monday). it is good to have the dune buggy back. I missed driving the little toy.
anyway. this weekend was filled with sixers of craft brew, catching up on missed shows (the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, etc) power-naps, pooperdog walks, and playing some online billiards (via PS3) as well as watching the Lions lose, diggin' on Olympic events and what not. it's good to unwind knowing the stalag will prob'ly throw us another 50-60 hour work week come Sunday night.
little bit of house cleanin' and then on to my favorite Gyro drive-thru (kozaks II) to get me that Gyro with everything plus Feta cheese with a root beer (mmmmmmmmmmmmms!).
anywayzzzzzzzz, you'll prob'ly notice that my last couple of entries are in the wee hours of the morning. my new laptop has a lighted keyboard that allows me to type in the dark. it's pretty awesome!
