  • it feels good to divorce the car from its incompetent dealership.  now if the car doesn't drop a tranny or crack the block within the next 3 years, I'll feel even betterlaughing.  I'm not worried about it.  cars have come and gone with repairs that didn't put me in the poor house that were under no warranty as well, so all is good. now I gotta make the call to my mechanic and see if he can fix it...I know, the normal person would scream bloody murder until they got the problem fixed, but in this case, being the dealer is so far away, and wasn't willing to fix what they "owed" me to begin with...bye bye. I'm sure they're not crushed by my decision either.  they prob'ly get their share of grumpy-ass car owners.  I'll let them take over. I don't need the stresscool.

we've had lower production numbers, these past couple days, at the stalag. seems the machinery did a 180 from last week and is breaking down a lot.  we have ourselves a meeting last night.  1st; we hear we're losing our boss, and (2nd) we're officially changing our hours from 8pm to 4am (instead of 10pm to 6am) which doesn't even matter, due to the fact that we're working every day now from 8pm to 6am anyway. which prompts me to think 'how does the company benefit from that change?' (because you know they didn't change it for our sake). anyway...

I gotta call the cable guy tomorrow and get me one of those DVR's.  it be almost football season, and it would be good to be able to tape the game *puts DVR on to-do list*

...gotta get ready for the stalag
