I turn in my vacation slip for the first week in September and get an approved signed copy back. shweet! taking a whole week off means you have the weekend before and the weekend after free from any and all mandatory overtime, which is awesome in itself. that's two weekends that I don't have to wonder at the last minute whether I gotta work 'em or not. we get the bad news yesterday that we're going back on 12 hour shifts. dammit! oh well, a little extra OT won't hurt. it'll help pay off this new 'puter faster. we'll find out tomorrow (or by phone) whether we gotta work this weekend or not? here's hopin' I can get 2 good days of beer drinkin' in
.otherwise, a good pooperdog walk after work, along with a bowl of honey bunches of sand burrs, a quick shower, then off to slumber-land for 8 quick hours (right after I hit the 'save entry' button). a barefoot pooperdog walk before work will follow, then 12 hours of fun at the stalag
