• good gawd! ya ever have one of those really long dreams where you can't find the bathroom, only to wake up having to pee real bad...?  yep, I just woke up from one. well, just before the barefoot pooperdog walk we just took, that is.  too cloudy to star gaze and just cool enough for that spring jacket.

  I'll stay awake for a bit this morning, then maybe hit the rack again 'round 9, so I can get a solid 8 hours of sleep in before work tonight. I power-napped a lot this weekend (between beers), which, playing catch-up is good, due to that 12 hour work schedule being completely unconducive (word?) to getting the proper rest.  I also catch up on a couple of super hero movies that I missed along the way (via Netflix).  the first, being 'Thor', the second was 'Captain America'.  both entertaining, both having their smallish Stan Lee cameo. it's fun. I guess I was in a super hero movie mood.

  otherwise, nothing new...barefoot pooperdog walks (she's still doing good, for an ol' dog), beer drinkin' and power-naps.  I can't wait for that week off [coming up the first of September], so I can do it all over again.

   

   

   

  I wonder when I'm supposed to go back to work? I'll assume it'll be a 12 hour start (6pm)...maybe I'll give Mark (fellow stalag inmate) a call and find out.
