• double damn!  I type up a whole dozen or so paragraphs of everything I've done over the past 2 weeks and for some reason 'Windows 8' swallowed it whole. so, I type a reader's digest version and re-save that.  BONK!  again...nothin'.  nice.  alright, move my ass to the kitchen laptop that has that stale 'Windows 7' still installed and see if I can't get kicked in the ass again.

  [...] I just hit 'save' to make sure that paragraph would stick.  yup!  good!

   

  recap of the reader's digest version:  nothing new, really.  got married had a baby, bought a house, vacationed in Kuala Lampur for the honeymoon.  wait...none of that happened.  it's the same old routine.  work, sleep, eat, pooperdog walks (lather, rinse, repeat).  I did almost break my pinky (rendering it 'purpley') by slamming it in the truck door.  turns out, you're not supposed to do that.  it's fine.  it just got a bit poofy and tender.  I survived.  otherwise nothing new.  working like a fiend. drinkin' a beer or 10 on my one day weekends (this weekend we actually get both days off!  hurray!).
