one more day before Thanksgiving break (4 days off!!) and the dog acts as if she's gonna kick the bucket (again). it's about 1pm (my 1am) and she wakes me from my sleep trying, like a turtle flipped upside down, to roll over from her back on her big pillow, then she's complainin' about trying to stand up on her hind legs and commences to pee on her pillow. at this point I'm just huggin' her and crying (again) thinkin' this is really it (again)! I carry her outside to her pillow on the porch and leave her on her chain (it being spring like mild out at the moment. the sun currently shining at an angle where she can cop a tan), then I fell back asleep and even dream-pt that she had died. later, I hold my breath and go back outside only to find her being that perky waggidy tail dog ready to take that pooperdog walk
. this is maybe the 7th time she's pulled this false alarm. I'll be all cried out when she really does go
. meanwhile, every day she wants to hang around is a huge plus
. I think she maybe wants to stick around for some Thanksgiving leftovers. Brian (almost neighbor/room mate) is making a ham and stuffing. I'm not a big holiday kind of guy, but I bought a pumpkin pie and cranberry sauce (since he's being nice enough to invite me to eat some of his grub). fuel to watch the D'roit Lions lose to the Packers.... the weather's been back and forth from frosty cold to Indian summer. I open a bunch of windows during the day while it's nice, then forget to close them at night when the weather dips. it get's mighty cold, fast, in this wood-panel submarine. good sleepin' weather with the right blanket. I put Rosie's coat on, and Squabber hibernates under my covers. it's supposed to get up into the 60's this weekend! it may be nice enough to wash my shrimpy bat-mobile!
quick midnight online banking shows this weeks paycheck already deposited (shweet!). after an allowance for my car payment, I see there's a good $255 "extra" to throw at paying down my Master Card (that's about a grand payed off within two months...it's getting gone, just gotta stay focused
). also Brian gives me rent for next month. I'll deposit that on Friday, then quickly allocate most of it toward debt.anywho, back to sleep, I go...I just thought I'd type me some nothings while the pooperdog does her thing outside
