I'm officially old.  I went to the doctor yesterday to get my med release  for my toofus extraction.  they hooked up an EKG, and did a blood  pressure check there.  everything seemed a bunch calmer (135/88 at the doc's as opposed to  155 over 93 at the dentist).  he recommends I buy me a blood pressure  checker to periodically keep track then prescribes me some "water  pills".  I call my dentist today, to see if the doc faxed the med  release.  nope.  I call the doc but he's closed today. I'll try again  tomorrow.  after all is said and done, he sets me up for an appointment  for lab work (which I go in for tonight before work) and a January  physical exam.  damn, all this shit for a crappy tooth!  what's next?laughing.  meanwhile, I'm patting myself on the back for actually making these  past 3 appointments.  oh, how I do hate going to the dentist/doctor.   it's been awhile for both. these visits seemed very comfortable.  I'm  officially old!

my second second written warning.  although the stalag gives you 65 hours a year to use however you like (for sick days and what-not), peeps (including me) are getting written  up for having less than 20 hours left.  why the write ups?!  isn't it to be used for anything?  besides that, mine says "second warning" again.  I got one about a month ago that said the same thing.  I'm still  waiting to get my "first warning"shy.  I guess a second "second warning" covers all.  I still have 14 hours  left, of which I may use a couple of tonight.  seems they let us know  yesterday, that we're having a "christmas lunch" tonight, and we gotta  come in and pull a 12'er to cover the difference.  that, to me, just  don't seem fair. we'll give you a party, but you gotta work extra for  it...thanks!whatevah.  some "party".  catered chicken and listening to different charities  make their pitch for some "caring and sharing" program.  I don't care.  I don't share.  there.pleased.  anyway. I have no idea how long my lab work appointment will take, so  I'll bring my phone with me, in case I have to call in 'late'.

this lab work I speak of is prob'ly a simple blood draw, but it required  that I fast for 12 hours.  I'm hittin' the golden arches directly afterlaughing.
