"I got some bad news about overtime...", the bosses boss starts. I'm thinkin', here it comes, he's gonna tell us that we have to work both Saturday AND Sunday, but then he continues with; "we won't have any this weekend, you guys get 3 days off because of the holiday [MLK day]." to where some actually considered it bad news (those that volunteer for overtime), and others (like me) welcome the break hugely. I was so sure that we were gonna have another one day weekend, that I started organizing a pizza lunch the day before. oh well. pizza can wait...
Brian (room mate/almost neighbor) is sicker than a damn dawg. I'll prob'ly catch it just as I'm ready to go back to work. meanwhile, I'm opening doors with my sleeve, drinking tons of water (and beers), being overtly cautious about touching my face, and washing my hands like an OCD fiend. just maybe I can skip this one if I'm lucky
. Tiger Woods '13 is the shit! I won my first PGA Masters game as an amateur with a 9 under score. of course, I used the caddy tips every shot, but I'll put those away as I learn the game. this one is so much better than '11. I'm hooked! one day I'll actually pick up some REAL clubs...yeah, I know. I got a good 15-20 years before I "retire" (if I make it that far?), but maybe if I start now, I'll be half good at it as an old fart
.recent digital downloads (over the past couple 3 months) include 2 Tomahawk CD's, Faith No More, Tom Waits closing time, Junior Brown's greatest hits, some Violent Femmes and Adam Ants first album 'Dirk wears white sox'. good shit! new tunes for the MP3 player in the shrimpy bat-mobile are a good thang! also I buy a couple digital movies: 'Species' (Natasha Henstridge being my favorite alien ever), 'Enemy at the Gate', 'Sin City' and 'Machete'.

I just petted the dog while thinking about what else to type. she has a wet hip again. she's peeing herself. incontinence is common for someone who's 120 years old. a heart beat and breathing in and out isn't as common. she's older than dust itself, but still keeps on truckin'
