• wow, last night, all I needed was a sixer of various craft beers to knock me out cold.  I laid down on the couch and rented the newest batman movie, and couldn't get thru about 1/4 of it before I went all lights out.  oh well. I can try again tonight.

  snow up the ying yang fell overnight Thursday.  coming straight out of work, I did some grocery shopping, then fired up the (usually lonesome) snow blower and proceeded to clear not only my driveway but about 7 others.  that thing can tackle some pretty heavy shit!  it's an awesome machine!  and speaking of work, we were asked about 4 1/2 hours early who wants to go home? but then as it turned out, we all got farmed out to different lines.  I worked on a substation called a 'slide block' machine.  pretty boring work after being told we'll be able to go home.  they pull this shit all the time. I'm so used to being their green broke pony tethered to that marry-go-round of disappointment.  the good news is we still got out an hour early (shoulda been 4 1/2 hours early, but what can ya do?), and we got a real weekend!  I take a minute to put on my million dollar windshield wiper blades, and add what's left of my washer fluid into the reservoir (yep, Brian went and filled his washer tank with almost 3/4's of the bottle of fluid I had bought...I know if I bring it up to him, he'll claim it was his to begin with, even though it's not.  he pulls this once in awhile.  room mates.  what can ya do?  he makes up for shit like that by grillin' every now and then, so it's all good).

  let's see.  nothing new under the sun...oh yeah, THE SUN! past couple of days have been rather sunny. it feels good to see the sun again.  it's usually only for a couple of minutes while I let Rosie out, but after so many weeks of solid grey it's a welcome sight.
