the Kid had his 26nd birthday yesterday, and leaves a "I'll miss the people, not the place" post on his facebook page...uh-oh. it could mean one of two things, either he lost a job, or he's ready to pack up and move to Jupiter (again
). turns out he got let go (Jupiter isn't very nice this time of year anyway...it's best to move there in the fall). bummer! reminds me a little of when I used to butt heads with the assistant manager at the rust proofing dealership. he'd always complain that the little clock radio was too loud while we worked, so one day, I unplugged it and threw it in the trash, then continued working. I guess he didn't like that move of defiance, and fired me on the spot. I actually cried when I lost that job, but looking back, it was a move for the better. I've had jobs come and go since, but none have ended quite so abruptly. and as luck would have it, I got fired on a Friday, only to have a new job by Monday. anyway, hang in there Kid, jobs come and go. persistence is the key. as the hippies used to say: "keep on keepin' on". a smallish care package in the form of some cabbage is on its way...it's not much, but I'm glad to do what I can on my meager prison camp wages
...looks as if peroxide blondie (Brian's girl friend) may be moving into the wood-panel submarine. no, there's been no mention of this, but it looks eerily similar to when the old room mate ('Squatch) slowly brought his girlfriend (now wife) on board. I didn't raise 'Squatches rent because he was already paying twice (plus) what Brian is paying. if I see solid evidence of her actually moving in, I will confront him and quickly double (plus) his rent. she's over here every night now, with her dog (which is actually cool for Rosie). I'm prob'ly jumping to conclusions at this point, but I wanna be ready for it this time [news at 11].
I gotta go back to sleep. I'm only up to let the pooperdog out. hopefully this is the last day of the week *crosses fingers for zero weekend work*.
