• another long ass week at the stalag (a good 58 hours), ending in another one day weekend...oh well, I'll be able to pay down debt quicker.  meanwhile, however, my liver is starting to get crispy from all the sober work days.  we got out a couple hours early tonight, so the pooperdog and I take us a little walk, then I crack my first weekend beerage (Sundog by New Holland Brewery...mmmmmmms!).  the weather has been getting milder,  with a trace of snow overnight.  the Pooperdog likes to lick the dirty snowbanks.  it's a habit I try and break with a good tug on the leash.  after those mostly unsuccessful attempts, I turn to just walking her down the middle of the road, so as she's not tempted to stop and eat more dirty snow-cones.

  the Kid sounds like he's making a good attempt at grabbin' up another job.  good luck kid!  once again, keep on keepin' on!  say Hi to Mark for me!

  Mark ( work bud) borrows my truck for a week whilst he's in the middle of waiting for his new (used) car loan to go thru, meanwhile, his old Rendezvous (with over 250,000 miles on it) gets quickly snapped up on Craigslist for $1800. I'm thinkin' if he got that much for that old wreck, my shrimpy truck ought to sell for a bunch higher (being it has 100,000 miles less than his did).   I prob'ly won't sell the shrimpy truck though.  it's paid for, and I still dig drivin' it in the winter, so...never-mind.

  man, that beer went down good! *BE7CH!*.  alright, maybe one more, then on to some Tiger Woods gaming...
