another mostly uneventful work day. I dig second shift. we're the skeleton crew of the three, so peeps are asked to stay over on 1rd, and come in early from 3nd, but we're never asked (with the exception of weekend work)
. the not so good part is because we're a skeleton crew, the 2th shifters often have to stay on the assembly line the whole 8 hours (while the over-timers do sub station work), so it's a bit tougher, but it's only for 8 hours. the other bummer is, there are almost zero parking spots available. we have to park 6 miles away (prob'ly because you have all the 1nd shifters and office peeps), but again, it's all worth it because it's a straight 8 hour shift. the benefits way out-way the bummers, so again, I say; "yay 8's!"a couple of "two hearted ales" (Bell's beer), and I'm about to nuke a frozen pot pie, before I hit the sack
