[006 error]
...and hit the bricks, I did. getting tired of waiting for a replacement phone from tracfone, so I re-upped with Vonage ($9.99 plus tax/month...shweet!). I was wide awake in the middle of the night last night, so I signed up online, then busted out my old land-line phones, hooked them both up to charge, and hooked up the old Vonage router. once all hooked up, and signed up, I figured I was ready to fly, but it kept giving me an [006 error] (whatever that means, I don't have my old Vonage hand book), so I called tech support (using my Skype phone). she tells me I have to wait for the new router to arrive. the one I have is out dated and set up for my old phone number. (k, well, I'll wait then). meanwhile, I call the glass fix-it guy and set up an appointment to have the windshield, passenger window and passenger side mirror replaced on Wednesday. then, I wandered down to a leaf spring fix-it place, here in town, that Mike recommended. he gives me an estimate of $238 to replace both back leaf spring brackets. I give him a hundred dollar deposit, and I'm supposed to call him tomorrow at noon to see if I can bring it in that afternoon. he says it'll only take a couple hours to replace, so maybe I'll bring a book, and just hang out. then I call the hospital (via Skype) and zero out that balance (it was a goal to get it gone by the end of this year...score!). let's see. oh yeah, then I stop off at the trailer park office and ask if she got my last months lot rent check (??). she said she does, and will cash them at the end of the month (cool! I was starting to wonder if I even left a check in the door slot at the beginning of this month?). I got my new debit card in the mail last week, so today, I give the bank a call to activate it. so new phone on the way, new leaf spring fix possibly as soon as tomorrow, and new glass/mirror this Wednesday (shweet!!). things are falling together...so far, so good. let's see if I can start the new year with last years car/phone/stolen Identity problems behind me...
yesterday, I was in great pain with stomach problems, so I missed a good LIONS game (Mike was here and gave me the lowdown after I took me a power-nap to try and relax that broken bottle in the gut feel/diarrhea thang. good gawd! that was an awful bout...maybe beers after a couple of english muffins with peanut butter is a bad idea afterall
