back on welder one last night, and this time maintenance gets tired of coming over every time there's a breakdown (which is very often), so they show me what to do on the control panel when the light curtain breaks in order to restart it. I took liberties that they prob'ly wouldn't normally let me take, just to keep them from coming over. there was a couple times that I thought I did more harm than good, turns out it's hard to bust something that's already busted
. it was acting twice as quarky as last night, yet we were able to double the day shifts haul plus add 18 onto that
. looks like we have to work Friday and Saturday, so 36 hours down, 36 hours to go!
(bowling ball emoticon for no apparent reason).Rosie's been a good dog lately! she hasn't gone potty in the house for quite some time. I just got to sleep yesterday morning, and a half in hour into it, she starts barking her fool head off over the garbage truck (she so rarely barks...). I try and calm her down. pretty soon, she fell asleep next to my bed, and we both crashed for a good 8 hours. she's a good dog. I find myself not writing so much about Squabber McCheese, because he doesn't bark at garbage trucks anymore. he's a good kitty none-the-less
.on my way into the trailer park this morning, I see what looks like a homeless guy all curled up on the sidewalk, in a dirty army coat, in front of the parks office door...is that Chas Manson?! it sure looks like him! did the park change the locks on his trailer, or what?! what is he up to? where's his car? maybe that's not him? there are three peeps walking his way...maybe they'll get him the help he needs. suddenly I'm feeling awkward as I drive past him, to my warm house. then again, when have I ever been selfless before? why start now?

You are selfless every time you give beers to friends when you don't really want to, let them come over when you're dog tired, walk your doggie around cuz you love her and let people rent from you even though it's probably easier to live alone. Don't kid yourself. You're one of those guys. Nice work! That's really what it's all about and one day they'll remember how you helped them. You'll see just how many times you were selfless and you might even cry.

@flamingaardvark - Danka! Sure wish we lived closer so I could be of some use to babysit doggy/cat. When el trocka get up and running, we'll try doing some steaks in the snow if buwanna.
