rolph!
ok, now that I've been around this new line (at the stalag), I guess I'm fitting in well enough so that the line support [let's call him Rolph] can be as big of an asshole to me as he is to everyone else
(I notice he's especially a shit to the girls on the line). he's not the boss, although you'd think he is with his whip cracking ways and a drill sarge attitude, with never a pleasant thing to say. usually he'll holler at ya for something that's not your fault. he's the grumpiest ol' guy I know! he's half funny, but pushes beyond, into the realm of harassment (much like that guy I had written about from the boat factory who felt better about himself bullying everyone else). now instead of bitchin' back, I pretty much say something way off in randomville, like "I WANT ICE CREAM!" (because what's he gonna do, right? he's not my boss. he's just another grunt like me), then tune out the rest because it's exactly "the rest" that he's trying to pull from you, getting satisfaction when he's made you react. I'm not fallin' for the bully tactics from anyone. I've had it up to here (points at buttocks) with bullies in the past. they suck! I wish I would have stood up more to the boat factory bully...oh well. anyway, I don't let him wreck my day. I carry on doing what I do, and try and fart often whenever he comes over to my work station
. that ought to teach him! sometime he'll even holler at us when it's his own fault for not supplying us with parts on time (line support...dah! and he makes 50 cents more an hour for being grumpy and inefficient
). seems everyone has his number...he'll bury himself one day barking at the wrong person.grocery shop, hit taco bell for a shrimp burrito combo and a raspberry ice tea, then come home to have me a slice of pecan pie and a St Pauli girl or two (...and life is good!!)
