and there ya have it, we had us a company update that pretty much spelled out the end of these grueling 12 hour stints. seems they're trying to figure out how we can pull a 40 hour week out of everyone. it's gonna piss off the peeps that volunteer for 40 hours (over and above their already 40 hours that they normally pull), but hey. it's good news for slackers like me. I'll have to budget for 8 hours less per week of time and half pay, but it can and will be done!! I can only dream of how gravy an 8 hour shift will be...it's been that long
. this is exactly what I've been wanting to hear forever now...I'm sure the transition will be disastrous, but once things die down and fall into place...wait, what am I talking about?! they better have a weekend shift because we're behind now, busting our asses during the weekend, and they want to do what?! this ain't gonna work. wait, it better work, I want my 40 hours, and maybe watch some football on the weekends, please?? alright. sleep. I need sleeeeep.
