  • hello summer!

dude!   it's Saturday once again...the work thang has been frustrating as always (10 hour days/5 days a week), 'cept this time we're told that we gotta work Friday (ummm...from Friday at 10pm 'til Saturday; 6am), but then we done run our selves out of rails at around 4:30am, so they took volunteers to hang out and do secondary bullshit, and let the rest of us go homecool.  I take the top off me dune buggy and enjoy the moonlit trip home.  it's even more awesome driving that thing at night mit da top downpleased! once home, we [the pooperdog and I] do us a moonlit pooperdog walk. I'm currently quietly drinking a sixer of Centennial IPA, so as not to wake up the room mate.  meanwhile, I search the webbage for a hard top for my car, so as I can maybe drop the ragtop in the wintertime and have me a removable hardtop in its place.  I find one {www.smoothline.com} for about $1400.   I don't want to purchase one now, but it may be the add-on I need (along with maybe some snow tires) to get me thru the winter (or, I may buy a cover...$170, and rent the neighbors carport, who'll be in Arizona for the winter anyway...we'll see).  my shrimpy truck will simply be back up to any decision I make.  it's good to have two vehicles, just 'cause.  it still sits in the neighbors driveway, just in case my sister wants to borrow it for the summerwinky.  I gotta bust me open another IPA and relax for a spell on the porch *fart*

also, I noticed I'm falling into the same old routine of 'the more money you make, the more you spend', so I quickly lay down a plan to eradicate that notion.  I take my whole weeks check (minus $150 for gas, food, beer, etc for the week), plus the $430 cash, that my room mate had given me for rent and cable TV, and laid down a plan to zero out some cards, and put them into my safe, so I can't use them anymore.  a good $811 went into paying down debt.  next week, I'll be making a car payment, but since we worked a long week, I'll prob'ly have enough to throw at some more debt, making it easier to eventually pay off this dune buggy.  the quicker I'm headin' toward zero [again], the better. I don't want those old bad habits to creep up on me again.

    anyway....BEER ME!!
