awesome! I download Crysis 2 [PS3], now that the price has fallen under $20. it's so much cooler than Crysis (1)! now that I have purchased it, it'll prob'ly be next months game offered for free (much like they did after I bought Infamous 2...
). I play a bunch of it last night whilst snarfing more of my favorite oatmeal stout ('The Poet' by New Holland Brew). that makes about game number 30 on my hard drive, most of which I have barely started and abandoned. (I WILL get back to them as soon as I find time betwixt stints at the stalag, and as the weather gets wintery). Brian (almost neighbor/room mate) just gets back from the doctor with news about not only having to have knee surgery, but surgery on both his hands. he's kinda bummed because he's the type that is active in sports and muscle head shit. we find out tomorrow whether I need to drop him off at the hospital Thursday. meanwhile, he helps me bring my shrimpy truck into the shop (brake line leak and clutch). they're supposed to look at it tomorrow and give me the bad news as to how much it's gonna cost to bring it up to snuff. I get a new code on my diagnostic machine as I drive my batmobile to the beer store. [p0102] something to do with the air/fuel mixter dealy. it pulled the same sputtering and choking thing as it did before. oh well. once my truck gets fixed, this one will be next (I can't wait to see the bill on these combined fixes
). Brian almost seemed mad that I beat him to mowing the lawn. I borrowed Jays mower (yep, now that they blew mine up, they finally went and bought one
) and cut and trim along the driveway unt sidewalk. I jump in the truck and buy me some autumn style fertilizer. the grass currently looks like solid crabgrass, but it I can weed and feed it now, it'll look like a real lawn next spring. I borrow the neighbors broadcast spreader and fertilize away. otherwise, not a lot else gets done except drink beers and try and get a sun burn *belch!*
