the work week starts off with our shift leaving at 4:30 (two hours early) on Friday, if not for being sent to another line, I would have been able to leave at 3 on Saturday with the rest of our crew, but the line I was volunteered for worked until 6:30, so I had to stay
...and tonight (Sunday) we got to split at 2:30 (4 hours earlier than normal). it's kinda hit or miss come July. some lines have complete weeks off, some have to stay and clean, some have to work their full schedule, all depending on what needs to happen for that particular auto makers model year change over. we do Dodge Ram truck seat frames. we haven't heard if we have any days off. it may just be hit or miss like the week started. it'd be nice to have a week off, but if it doesn't happen, oh well. it's not a thing. time off here and there is just as nice. it's currently 3:30am. the pooperdog and I just went for a walk under the stars. it's a pleasant night. 68 degrees cool. I guess I'll stay awake 'til around 8:30am then crash for the day to get ready for tomorrow nights gig *plan*. now, what to do in the middle of the night? go shopping? I don't need any food. get something to eat? I had me a big ol' slab of leftover lasagna about 3 hours ago. I'm not hungry. maybe I'll catch up on some Jon Stewart daily shows and ABC world news on hulu.com...
